We had a great stay at Haggerston. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the easy access to the A1 made it even better. The site was huge and had plenty to offer. Our caravan, Betty, was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The little touches like tea and coffee made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, our dog loved it too!
Totally recommend this hotel.

As a young family, we loved the great location, close to the A1 for easy access to various places. the site is massive with plenty to do if you want, but we were happy just using it as a base. the caravan and lodge were both very clean and well-equipped, with lots of little extras like cleaning products, condiments, and even wine glasses. the kitchen had everything we needed, making meals a breeze. the lodge had a fantastic view over the lake and wildlife, and Nathalie, the host, was extremely helpful and provided excellent information.

The view from the decking overlooking the lake was incredibly relaxing. The ability to bring our furry friends along without any worries was a definite bonus. The direct line to the owner provided excellent communication throughout our stay.

The location of the lodge was absolutely lovely, tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area. With plenty of walks nearby, it was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The lodge itself was cosy and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a long day of adventure. Plus, the owner was easily accessible, which was a convenient bonus for any inquiries or assistance needed.
Some areas of the lodge could have been cleaner, with dusty corners and overlooked spots. Attention to detail in the cleaning process would have been appreciated to ensure a fully pristine experience.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, with a super design and layout. the chalet was much bigger than we anticipated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful location facing the lake. having an on-site Chinese takeaway was a convenient option for dining.
The cleanliness of the accommodation was lacking. We found the carpet to be unhoovered with bits all over, and the floors needed mopping.
